Pirates of Perdition Water Taxi

Intelligent Booking

Request a crossing between Lasqueti Island and French Creek. Choose an available date, tell the captain when you would prefer to travel, and your request will be reviewed before confirmation.

Crossing requests are not automatic confirmations. Weather, sea conditions, vessel availability and scheduling must be reviewed by the captain before departure details are confirmed.

Weather guidance is advisory. Forecast colours never override captain blocks or automatically confirm/cancel a crossing. Days 1–7 use developing route forecast guidance; days 8–14 are shown only as a lower-confidence planning signal.
Operating Limits

Pirates of Perdition operates conservatively and every crossing is assessed individually. As a general planning guide, sustained route winds below 10 knots are normally considered favourable, while sustained winds in the 10–15 knot range require greater caution and closer review of direction, sea state, gusts and recent conditions.

Brief gusts above the sustained wind do not automatically make a crossing unsuitable. For example, a forecast of 6–8 knot sustained winds with occasional stronger gusts may still be entirely workable if the sea state is settled.

Forecasts shown here are planning guidance only. You may still submit a booking request when the outlook shows caution or poor conditions. The final decision to operate is made by the captain on the day of travel using the latest marine forecast, official observations, sea state and actual conditions along the route.
